Consider this...........If a Doctor, Lawyer, Dentist or Ofsted Inspector had between 30 and 35 people in their office at one time [every day, every week - all of whom were different, and some who did not want to be there and were causing disruption and trouble], and the Doctor, Lawyer, Dentist or Ofsted Inspector, had to treat them all equally and with professional excellence, monitoring, enriching and developing each individuals social, physical, moral and intelligence needs [and planning, recording and reporting at home every evening and weekend], then the Doctor, Lawyer. Dentist or Ofsted Inspector might have some conception of a Primary School Classroom Teacher's job.
A Chair of Governors once stated that Teachers do not work in the real world so non teachers, who do work in the real world, need to monitor and assess schools and teachers. [I have still to come to terms with living 38 years in my life in fantasy land] |

Major Government Report
A major Government report has called for urgent reforms to protect
Primary Schools struggling to cope with an overloaded curriculum. It
proposes six new areas of learning for schools to focus on:
Understanding English, Communication and Languages; Mathematical
understanding; Scientific and technological understanding; Human, Social
and environmental understanding; understanding Physical Health and
well-being; understanding the Arts and Design.
